Paolo Piscitelli_displaced
What does it mean to let go of a familiar place? To move or to be forced to leave?
In my talk at the tram, I'll discuss these dynamics and how they shape my work through temporary manifestations of something that existed at one time and is no longer there. These practices, more present in my works since I moved to the U.S., were introduced in Turin at blank in the event “Evening Redness in the West”, in the context of campo volo (2011) and in my last solo exhibition “The Broken Places / 2” (2012).
